<br/><br/> The current study aims to explore Biblical allusions as an aspect of <br/>intertextuality between the sacred text and literary works, alongside their <br/>translations into different cultural contexts. In situations where culture and <br/>sacredness collide, translators face numerous challenges in rendering the sacred <br/>text, as there is always a gap between cultures, including religious differences. <br/>Translators may favor one culture over another to address gaps in the target <br/>audience's knowledge or to avoid potential "cultural bumps." The purpose of this <br/>study is to identify the strategies employed by translators to navigate these <br/>challenges, as well as to examine the impact of these strategies on the fidelity to <br/>the meaning of the source text and its reception by the target audience. To achieve <br/>these objectives, the study adopts Ritva Leppihalme’s framework for translating <br/>allusions. For analysis, the study focuses on John Milton’s Paradise Lost and its <br/>Arabic translation by Muhammed Enani.   تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى دراسة الإحالات إلى الكتاب المقدسباعتبارها جانبًا من التناص بين النص المقدس والأعمال الأدبية، إلى جانب ترجماتها إلى سياقات ثقافية مختلفة. في المواقف التي تصطدم فيها الثقافة بالنص المقدس، يواجه المترجمون تحديات متعددة في ترجمة النصوص المقدسة، حيث توجد دائمًا فجوة بين الثقافات، بما في ذلك الاختلافات الدينية. قد يفضل المترجمون ثقافة على أخرى لمعالجة الثغرات في معرفة الجمهور المستهدف أو لتجنب "العقبات الثقافية" المحتملة. تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد استراتيجيات الترجمة التي يستخدمها المترجمون للتغلب على هذه التحديات، وكذلك فحص تأثير هذه الاستراتيجيات على الإخلاص لمعنى النص الأصلي واستقباله من قبل الجمهور المستهدف. لتحقيق هذه الأهداف، تتبنى الدراسة إطار ريتفا ليبيهالمي لترجمة الإشارات. للتحليل، تركز الدراسة على Paradise Lostلجون ميلتون وترجمته العربية لمحمد عناني
