N2  - Fractures of the scaphoid are well known to be problematic especially 
when complicated by avascular necrosis non-union and it’s management 
represents a challenging problem. This study compares between the vascularized 
and non-vascularized bone graft according to the bone union rate and the 
functional outcome. The vascularized graft group demonstrated higher rate of 
bone union and better functional outcome.; تعتبر كسور العظمة الزورقية من التحديات التي تواجه جراحة العظام و يرجع ذلك الي طبيعة العظمة الزورقية في كونها مغطاه بالغضاريف في مجمل اجزائها و يمسك بها اربطة محور الرسغ اضافة الي ان الامداد الدموي لها ذو طبيعة خاصة، مما يجعلها عرضة اكثر للمضاعفات في حالة الكسر مثل عدم الالتئام او الضمور النكروزي او تشوه الكسر، و قد تم وصف العديد من تقنيات ترقيع العظام المختلفة، بما في ذلك مواقع مختلفة لأخذ الرقعة العظمية وطرق تثبيت متنوعة، مثل استخدام رقعة عظمية مدممة اورقعة عظمية غير مدممة و تثبيت بواسطة مسامير هيربرت و اسلاك معدنية
