N2  - This thesis aims to address two main studies. The first study aims to understand 
how resonant geopotential harmonics affect the semi-major axis of GPS orbits. The 
study uses a second-order approximation to calculate iteratively the impact of 
higher zonal perturbations. The study also investigates motion around the stable and 
metastable points using the Poincare method, demonstrating the existence of 
periodic, quasi-periodic, and chaotic orbits near these positions. In the second study, 
we explored how to mitigate these geopotential effects through the application of a 
closed-loop control method applied to GEO satellites. A closed-loop control law is 
derived analytically and incorporated into the equations of motion in a rotating 
Cartesian frame of reference.; هذه الرسالة تقوم علي دراستان, الدراسة الأولي تهدف إلي فهم تأثيرالتوافقيات التثاقليةالمناطقيةوالمربعيةوالقطاعيةالرنينيةلدالةجهدالأرضعلي نصف المحور الرئيسي لمدارات أقمار نظام تحديد المواقع العالميGPS. تم استخدام تقريب من الرتبة الثانية لحساب التأثيرالتكراري للاضطرابات المناطقيةمنرتبعلياعلىنصف المحور الرئيسي. كما تناولت الدراسة تحليل الحركة في محيط النقاط المستقرة وشبة المستقرة باستخدام طريقة بوانكاريه، مما أظهر وجود مدارات دوريةوشبه دوريةوفوضوية بالقرب من تلك المواضع. اما الدراسة الثانية فتدرس كيفية حذف هذه التاثيرات التوافقيات التثاقليةالمناطقيةوالمربعيةوالقطاعيةالرنينيةلدالةجهدالأرضعن طريق استخدام طريقة التحكم المغلق الحلقة وتطبيقها علي كوكبة الGEO . تم إشتقاق قانون التحكم المغلق الحلقة المناسب ثم اضافته في معادلة الحركة المشتقة في الاحداثيات الكارتيزية الدورانية
