    <subfield code="a">This thesis was concerned with pharmaceutical analytical study of some pharmaceutical mixtures 
of drugs containing amino group which are categorized as drugs for different respiratory tract 
disorders as; Doxycycline hyclate (DOX), Ambroxol hydrochloride (AMB), Indacaterol acetate 
(INDA), and Mometasone furoate (MOM). 
The aim of this work was to develop simple, sensitive, accurate, eco-friendly, validated, and 
specific methods for determination of the cited drugs either in bulk powder, different laboratory 
prepared mixtures without interference from synthetic precursor, pharmaceutical formulations, 
and/or in biological matrices. 
Different analytical methods applied in this thesis include; Spectrophotometry, HPTLC-
densitometric, and Ultra performance liquid chromatographic methods. In addition, application 
of greenness, whiteness, and blueness assessments were performed to assess the sustainability of 
the developed methods. 

This thesis is divided into six chapters in addition to the references and summaries in Arabic and 
English. The six chapters are: 

Chapter I: General Introduction and Literature Review. 
Chapter II: A modern chromatographic energy-saving approach for the analysis of doxycycline, 
ambroxol, and its precursor and impurity: Green metric assessment and comparison. 
Chapter III: Smart green versatile spectrophotometric and HPTLC techniques for the 
investigation of ambroxol, doxycycline, in presence of ambroxol precursor and impurity: 
Appraisal and comparison with various green metrics. 
Chapter IV: Masterful ecofriendly maintainable spectrophotometric techniques for considering 
indacaterol acetate and mometasone furoate: Full evaluation and comparison of the greenness, 
whiteness, and blueness profiles. 
Chapter V: Efficient and sustainable HPTLC technique for quantification of indacaterol acetate, 
and mometasone furoate in their pharmaceutical breezhaler and spiked human plasma; 
Comparative monitoring using green, white, and blue metrics.
