It comprises three parts: Part I is a general introduction and literature review on psychiatric drugs, as well as descriptions of various analytical methodologies for determining olanzapine, lamotrigine, fluoxetine, and risperidone in their pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids. The introduced methods include chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, electrochemical methods (e.g., voltammetry and potentiometry), spectrophotometry, and spectrofluorimetry. They are characterized by their reproducibility, accuracy, and adequate degree of sensitivity for the assay of the cited drugs in their pure powdered form and commercial formulations, and biological fluids as well. Part II focuses on the electrochemical analysis of olanzapine, lamotrigine, and fluoxetine using voltammetric and potentiometric techniques. Sections I and II employ various voltammetric approaches to investigate the electrochemical behavior of olanzapine and lamotrigine to develop reliable, sensitive, and simple analytical methods for their quantification in pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids. Section III presents the development of a potentiometric sensor for the selective and sequential determination of olanzapine and fluoxetine, offering advantages such as simplicity, rapid response, and suitability for routine analysis. Part III focuses on the spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric determination of fluoxetine and risperidone. These optical techniques are widely used in pharmaceutical analysis due to their simplicity, sensitivity, and cost-effectiveness. The spectrophotometric method relies on measuring absorbance changes associated with drug–reagent interactions, while spectrofluorimetric approaches exploit the fluorescence properties of risperidone after the addition of a surfactant above its critical micellar concentration. تتناول هذه الرسالة تحليل بعض الأدوية النفسية. وهي تتكوّن من ثلاثة أجزاء: الجزء الأول هو مقدمة عامة ومراجعة أدبية حول الأدوية النفسية، إلى جانب وصف لمختلف المنهجيات التحليلية المستخدمة لتقدير الأولانزابين واللاموتريجين والفلوكستين والريسبيريدون في مستحضراتها الدوائية وفي السوائل البيولوجية. تشمل الطرق المقدَّمة كلاً من الكروماتوغرافيا، والرحلان الشعري، والطرق الكهروكيميائية (مثل الفولتمترية والبوتمترية)، والقياس الطيفي، والفلورومتري. وتمتاز هذه الطرق بقابليتها للتكرار ودقتها ومستوى الحساسية المناسب لتحليل الأدوية المذكورة في صورتها النقية وفي المستحضرات التجارية وكذلك في السوائل الحيوية. الجزء الثاني يركّز على التحليل الكهروكيميائي للأولانزابين واللاموتريجين والفلوكستين باستخدام التقنيات الفولتمترية والبوتمترية. تستخدم القسمان الأول والثاني عدة تقنيات فولتمترية لدراسة السلوك الكهروكيميائي للأولانزابين واللاموتريجين بهدف تطوير طرق تحليلية موثوقة وحساسة وبسيطة لتقديرهما في المستحضرات الدوائية والمواد البيولوجية. ويعرض القسم الثالث تطوير حساس بوتمتري للتقدير الانتقائي والمتتابع للأولانزابين والفلوكستين، بما يوفر مزايا مثل البساطة وسرعة الاستجابة والملاءمة للتحليل الروتيني. الجزء الثالث يركّز على التقدير الطيفي والفلورومتري للفلوكستين والريسبيريدون. تُعد هذه التقنيات البصرية من أكثر الطرق استخدامًا في التحليل الدوائي نظرًا لبساطتها وحساسيتها وانخفاض تكلفتها. تعتمد الطريقة الطيفية على قياس تغيرات الامتصاص الناتجة عن تفاعلات الدواء مع الكاشف، بينما تستغل الطرق الفلورومترية الخصائص الفلورية للريسبيريدون بعد إضافة مادة خافضة للتوتر السطحي بتركيز أعلى من التركيز الحرج للمذيلات. specialized by Hind Ahmed Mokhtar Noureldin ; Supervision Prof. Dr. Azza Aziz Mohamed Mostafa, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Husseini Ali Badr, Prof. Dr. Ghada Mostafa El Sayed.
