The current research aims to verify the effectiveness of using a modified structure for lesson research on developing the negotiation skills of the teacher and deep learning for slow learners in social studies in the first year of middle school. The basic research sample consisted of (15) social studies teachers and (30) students in the first year of middle school. The sample for verifying the psychometric efficiency of the tools consisted of (5) social studies teachers and (5) students. The researcher used the tools (the social studies teacher's negotiation skills scale - prepared by the researcher; the deep learning test for slow learners in social studies - prepared by the researcher; the intelligence test - Raven's colored progressive matrices; the modified structure for lesson research for the social studies curriculum - prepared by the researcher). The experimental method and the quasi-experimental design with one group were used.
