N2  - This thesis involved analytical study of some drugs containing hydroxyl group and
described simultaneous analysis of binary and ternary mixtures by applying
chromatographic, spectrophotometric (univariate and multivariate), and electrochemical
methods.
The aim of work was to develop several simple, accurate, sensitive, selective and
precise methods for the assay of the studied drugs (prednisolone acetate, sulfacetamide
sodium, hydrocortisone acetate, and clioquinol) in their pure powdered form, laboratoryprepared mixtures and pharmaceutical formulation. The developed methods were applied
on topical preparations including Blephamide® eye drops and Vioderm Hydrocortisone®
Cream.
All the proposed methods were validated according to ICH guidelines and the
obtained results were statistically compared with those of the official and/or reported
methods using Student’s t-test, F-value and one-way ANOVA that showing no significant
difference with respect to accuracy and precision.
These methods could be used for the routine analysis of the studied drugs in quality
control laboratories with satisfactory accuracy and precision; تضمنت هذه الأطروحة دراسة تحليلية لبعض الأدوية التي تحتوي على مجموعة هيدروكسيل، ووصفت التحليل المتزامن للخلائط الثنائية والثلاثية باستخدام
طرق كروماتوغرافية، وقياس الطيف الضوئي (أحادية ومتعددة المتغيرات)، وكيميائية كهربائية.
كان الهدف من العمل هو تطوير عدة طرق بسيطة ودقيقة وحساسة وانتقائية،
ودقيقة لتحليل الأدوية المدروسة (أسيتات بريدنيزولون، وسلفاسيتاميد الصوديوم، وأسيتات هيدروكورتيزون، وكليوكينول) في صورتها النقية المسحوقة، وفي الخلائط المحضرة مخبريًا، وفي التركيبات الصيدلانية. طُبقت الطرق المطورة
على مستحضرات موضعية، بما في ذلك قطرات العين بليفاميد® وكريم فيوديرم هيدروكورتيزون®.
... تم التحقق من صحة جميع الطرق المقترحة وفقًا لإرشادات ICH، وتمت مقارنة النتائج المُتحصل عليها إحصائيًا مع نتائج الطرق الرسمية و/أو المنشورة باستخدام اختبار t للطالب، وقيمة F، وتحليل التباين أحادي الاتجاه (ANOVA)، مما أظهر عدم وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية فيما يتعلق بالدقة والضبط.
يمكن استخدام هذه الطرق للتحليل الروتيني للأدوية المدروسة في مختبرات مراقبة الجودة بدقة وضبط مرضيين
