<br/><br/> تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف دور النبوءات السبيلية في الحياة الدينية والاجتماعية والسياسية لروما خلال العصر الجمهوري (509-27 ق.م.). تعتمد الدراسة على المنهج التاريخي لتحليل الأحداث والظواهر المرتبطة بهذه النبوءات، مع التركيز على مصادرها اليونانية واللاتينية.فالنبوءات السبيلية هي مجموعة من النصوص التنبؤية التي كانت تُعتبر سرية وتُستخدم لتفسير الظواهر الغريبة واسترضاء الآلهة. لذلك تم الحفاظ على هذه النبوءات التي كانت تستشار في أوقات الأزمات أو الكوارث في معبد جوبيتر على تل الكابيتول، وتحت إشراف كهنة مختصين. وقد لعبت النبوءات السبيلية دورًا محوريًا في الحياة الدينية الرومانية، حيث كانت تُستخدم لتحديد الطقوس الدينية المناسبة لاسترضاء الآلهة. كما أدت إلى إدخال عبادات أجنبية إلى روما. وكانت النبوءات السبيلية أداة مهمة في صنع القرارات السياسية، خاصة في حالات الحرب والسلام. كما استخدمها النبلاء لتعزيز نفوذهم.   This study aims to explore the role of the Sibylline oracles in the religious, social, and political life of Rome during the Republican era (509-27 BCE). The study relies on the historical method to analyze events and phenomena associated with these oracles, focusing on their Greek and Latin sources.The Sibylline oracles are a collection of predictive texts considered secret and used to interpret strange phenomena and satisfy the gods. These oracles were preserved in the Sibylline Books, which were consulted during times of crisis or disaster. The books were kept in the Temple of Jupiter on the Capitoline Hill under the supervision of specialized priests. The Sibylline oracles played an essential role in Roman religious life, as they were used to determine the appropriate religious rituals to satisfy the gods. They also led to the introduction of foreign cults into Rome, such as the cult of the goddess Cybele. Additionally, the Sibylline oracles were an important tool in political decision-making, especially in matters of war and peace, and were used by the nobility to promote their power.
