<br/><br/> The present work was carried out to evaluate the effect of lauric acid a natural product extracted from coconut oil, against Giardia lamblia in infected hamsters. Sixty five laboratory - bred hamsters were used in the currnt experimental study . Hamsters were divided into 6 group : normal control, drug control, infected control, infected treated with metronidazole, infected treated with lauric acid and infected received combined treatment of metronidazole and lauric acid in a half dose each
