<br/><br/> Symphyseal and mandibular body fractures were experimentally induced in 30 mongrel dogs. The induced fractures were reconstructed using 3 different fixation techniques; cerclage wiring was used sucessfilly for repair of symphyseal mandibular fractures in 5 dogs. While bone plating technique fractures and 5  bilateral mandibular body fractures 10 dogs
