<br/><br/> The present work demonstrated that the effect of sodium fluoride injection for three successive weeks produced variable histological changes in the liver of rats . These changes appeared as loss of hepatic architecture pyknosis of the nuclei and extensive vacuolation of the hepatocytes . Widespread congestion and dilatation of the hepatic sinusoids and branches of the portal vein were noticed
