<br/><br/> This study was performed to investigate the effect of different parameters on the behavior of isolated footing and strip footing connected with tie beams and resting on partially saturated collapsible soil and to evaluate the relative significance of these investigated parameters . Parametric study was performed by finite element program PLAXIS 3- D util izing the conventional Mohr - coublomb model for soil behavior
