This study was done To clarify the effect of 4% plain Articaine hydrochloride (AH) infiltration anesthesia on the healing of surgical woulds and to compare healing with that of 2% plain Lidocaine . 62 healthy male New Zealand white rabbits were randomly separated into four groups . The first group ( control group ), two groups were given 4% AH ( group II ) and 2% Lidocaine (group III), these three groups received 1cm incision in the right labial vestibule of rabbits and the fourth(group IV ) was divided into three subgroups which received infiltration of 1ml
