<br/><br/> The present thesis deals with the preparation of blends of poly ethylene succinate (PES) / poly vinyl acetate (PVAc) thin films of compositions , 70/30 , 50/50 , 30/70 , 15/85 and 0/100 (wt/wt %) , by casting technique . X - ray diffraction , IR spectroscopy , DSC , TGA , I-V characteristics , dc electrical conductivity , TSDC and TS techniques of the individual polymers and their blends were studied
