<br/><br/> This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of selection by using biotechnological methods on the productive performance of the Egyptain broiler breeder female line, Cairo B-2, after 7 generations of selection for increasing 6 week live body weight (LBW) . The performance of Cairo B-2 and RBC lines; LBW, at sexual maturity (BWSM), egg number (EN), and egg weight (EW) were evaluated at the 4   (G4), 5    (G5), 6    (G6), and 7   (G7) generations
