<br/><br/> The thesis is concerned with the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) of unknown parameters of the Beta-weibull distribution (BW) based on type  censored samples. Maximum obtained. Simulation studies are carried out to investigate the properties of the maximum likelihood estimates in the case of two and three unknown parameters. A numerical example and application to real data are presented when four parameters are unknown
