<br/><br/> The overall goal of this study was to design and optimize production from non - edible oil. To achieve this goal, several interconnected research activities were undertaken, at the beginning an investigation of the optimum condition for the production of biodiesel from waste cooking in laboratory. Then a base-case flow sheet was developed for the process. The performance of this flow sheet along with the key design and operating criteria were identified by conducting computer-aided simulation using HYSYS where four simulation models were constructed to provide sufficient understanding of the biodiesel production process
