Field experiments were conducted in sakha station, Cotton Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, during 2010 and 2011 seasons, to investigate the impact of irrigation interval, defoliant type and defoliation time on yield, yield components and fiber properties of the Egyptian cotton (G. brbadense L) variety Giza 92 A split split plot design in randomized complete blocks arrangement with three replicates was used in this study. The first factor (irrigation intervals) (I) occupied the main plots with three levels: Normal irrigation (two weeks interval) (I1), normal irrigation (two weeks interval) until flowering after then increasing the time to (4- weeks intervals) (I2) and four weeks interval I3
