Patients were assigned to two groups A and B. Group A digits were injected with hyaluronic acid intraoperatively and at weekly intervals afterwards making a total of 3 injections. Results demonstrated that group A patients had a better functional outcome according to Strickland criteria and that hyaluronic acid was effective on minimizing adhesions.
