Minimally invasive surgery has become the {u2018}{u2018}gold standard{u2019}{u2019} for cholecystectomy and patients choice, because of less postoperative pain, better cosmetic results, faster recovery, and earlier return to normal activity. Meanwhile complication of this procedure increased due to lack of training to a professionally degree. Virtual reality simulation is a valid method for training novice surgeons at the beginning of their first steps towards laparoscopic surgery.  Methods   Twenty novice residents will participate in this study. Every resident will do virtual laparoscopic cholecystectomy 8 times using laparoscopic simulator (simbionix)in one set, at  national training institute  (NTI) then  analysis of acquired data will be calculated to assess efficacy on skills of novice surgeons
