<br/><br/> This study was carried out in Biological Restore Center Standard, Plant Pathology Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, survey of Alteraria leaf spot Disease on faba bean plants during the two growing seasons 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 proved that the disease was presented in all surveyed Egyptian governorates, the highestdisease severity was recorded in the Behera followed by Kafr El-Shiekh,, Sharkia, Giza and Beni Swif governorates, respectively. Alternaria alternatawas the most prevailing isolated fungi.Furthermore pathogenicity test proved its responsibility for disease occurrence and the more aggressive isolate was Kafr-El-Sheikh isolate, and the less one was Giza1.Results were confirmed using(PCR-RAPD Technique)
