Proteases of DTc contain serine proteases, trypsin like proteases and chymotrypsin like serine proteases, while ESP and SGc contain mainly serine proteases. It was found that the presence of C. titillator larvae in camel, (Camelus dromedaries) resulted in a significant increase of NO production in camel mucus. The antibody titer in mucus samples of infested camels collected in winter using ELISA are higher than that collected in summer in both L2 and L3. In L2 the most antigenic secretion is SGc>ESP>DTc, but in L3 ESP> SGc> DTc.
