Results: In the study there was no systemic complications in both groups. Ocular complicatons as subconjuctial hemorrhages was found in 36 patients (51.4%), with 28 patients diabetic retinopathy (56%) and 8 patients retinal vein occlusion (40%), Secondary Epiretinal membrane formation was found in 17 patients (24.3%), with12 patients diabetic retinopathy (24%) and 5 patients retinal vein occlusion (25%), Tractional retinal detachment was found in 6 patients (8.6%) with 2 patients diabetic retinopathy (4%) and 4 patients retinal vein occlusion (20%) ,Vitreous Hge was found in 3 patients (4.3%) with 2 patients diabetic retinopathy (4%) and 1 patients retinal vein occlusion (5%) , Lamellar macular hole was found in 2 patients (2.9%) with 1 patients diabetic retinopathy (2 %) and 1 patients retinal vein occlusion (5%) , Lens injury was found in 1 patients (1.4%) with 1 patients retinal vein occlusion (5%) UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
