Glaucoma is defined as a disturbance of the structural or functional integrity of the optic nerve. Optical coherence tomography is a noncontact, noninvasive technique by which retinal and anterior segment substructure may be analyzed in vivo. Retinal imaging by OCT provides objective, quantitative and reproducible imaging of RNFL, ONH and macula which all have been used for investigating glaucoma. Anterior segment OCT allows evaluation of anterior chamber angle parameters, measurement of central corneal thickness and follow up of glaucoma surgery. Advancement in OCT techniques may lead to earlier diagnosis or better longitudinal monitoring of patient with established or suspected glaucoma, one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide
