This thesis aimed at introducing new features that characterize the shape of the shape of the RPS of the EEG signals to enhance the performance of the BCI systems. We used the first minimum of mutual information and Cao`s algorthm to determine the optimal delay-time (t) and the optimal embedding dimension (m) respectively. The calculated t and m were used to reconstruct the phase space of the underling dynamical system
