This study was conducted to evaluate the stresses transmitted to implant supporting structures using implants with internal hex and implants with external hex type of implant abutment attachment, under 2 different conditions of loading which are axial loading and off-axial loading. In this study 6 epoxy resin casts were constructed from a readymade silicon mould. Where the 12 implant fixtures (13 mm. length and 3.75 mm. in diameter) were fixed in the place of the maxillary second molar bilaterally, then an abutment was mounted on each fixture, and a crown was constructed and cemented on each implant. Results showed that concerning the type of connection external hex connection resulted into higher strain values than that of the internal hex connection, and concerning the type of loading off-axial loading resulted into higher strain values than that of the axial loading
