We studied the incidence and possible risk factors of early postoperative arrhythmias in 100 consecutive patients underwent cardiac surgery in Post-operative Pediatric Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit during 6 months. All patients had continuous ECG monitoring in the ICU. Twenty patients (20%) had early postoperative arrhythmias. The commonest was junctional ectopic tachycardia (15 patients). Most of arrhythmias occurred after Fallot tetralogy and Ventricular septal defect repair. Arrhythmias were more common after prolonged cardiopulmonary bypass and ischemic times aIssued also as CD 4aChildren 4aCongenital heart disease 4aEarly postoperative arrhythmias0 aHanan Zekri Khalid , eSupervisor0 aReem Ibrahim Ismail , eSupervisor0 aRodina Sobhi Mohamed , eSupervisor uhttp://172.23.153.220/th.pdf
