N2  - This is a retrospective study reviewing all rectal cancer patients who presented to the National cancer institute Cairo university in the period from (2010-2013). The aim was to define all clinico-pathological data, different treatment modalities and to define the different prognostic factors which affect the locoregional control, disease free survival (DFS) overall survival (OS) and response to local treatment. Univariate analysis and multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression identified TNM stage, radiotherapy and type of concurrent chemotherapy as independent prognostic factors for LC, DFS, and OS
