Introduction: Tibial plateau fractures can be difficult to manage for an orthopaedic surgeon. The factors determining a satisfactory result in the treatment of these fractures are the adequacy of reduction and the degree of joint motion. These fractures are often associated with ligamentous and meniscal injury, and consequently it is necessary to assess and treat the concomitant knee pathology at the same time. Aim of the work: The goal of our study was to determine the feasibility and the results of the all through arthroscopic reduction and fixation of depressed tibial plateau fractures. Materials and methods: This prospective study involved 30 patients with fractures of the tibial plateau presenting to the emergency department of Cairo university hospitals between February 2016 and January 2018 .All patients were followed up for an average period of 6 months. The longest follow up was 2 years. Results:The average time to full union was 10.9 weeks. Functional assessment according to modified rasmussen scoring system was 27.8 ,ranging from(24-30). 20 patients had excellent scores(28-30), 10 patients had good scores(24-27). Only one case(3.3 %) who was known to suffer from diabetes and renal impairment had mild superficial skin infection that resolved after 5 days of systemic antibiotics and daily dressings. None of the cases was complicated by wound dehiscence or deep infection
