It was a cross sectional study including 100 FMF patients divided into 2 groups ( 50 respondents and 50 resistant) according to FMF 50 score. Both groups were studied regarding (demographic data, clinical manifestations, disease severity, colchicine therapy, anthropometric measurements, laboratory findings and type of gene mutation. Results showed statistically significant difference between two groups in height SDS, weight SDS, BMI, height velocity and height velocity SDS (p<0.001) Inflammatory markers (CRP and ESR) as well were higher in resistant group. Our study concluded that colchicine respondents had better growth velocity than colchicine resistant FMF patients aIssued also as CD 4aColchicine 4aFamilial Mediterranean fever 4aGrowth 0 aHeba Taher Othman , eSupervisor 0 aNoha Musa Azzab , eSupervisor uhttp://172.23.153.220/th.pdf
