Electrochemical sensor based on poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/Nafion®/Ý- cyclodextrin nanocomposite modified gold electrode "Au/PEDOT/NF/CD" was fabricated for the determination of dopamine (DA) and paracetamol (ACOP) in presence of interference compounds. The Au/PEDOT/NF/CD sensor showed an excellent electrocatalytic synergism between its components for the electro-oxidation of DA and ACOP. Furthermore, another electrochemical sensor based on modification of gold electrode surface with Nafion® (NF), Ý-CD and gold nanoparticles (Au/NF/CD/Aunano) was fabricated for the determination of DA.The electrochemical response of DA was highly improved by the interactive impacts between gold nanoparticles, Ý-CD and nafion. Carbon paste electrode modified with ionic liquid crystal ILC (2-chloro-1,3-dimethylimidazolidinium hexafluorophosphate), Ý-CD and gold nanoparticles; CPE/CD/ILC/Aunano was also fabricated for sensitive determination of norepinephrine (NE) in biological fluids. The ionic liquid crystal played a key role in the enhancement of the current response of electro-oxidation of NE compared to other ionic liquids modified electrodes. ILC increased the ionic conductivity of the paste, formed non-covalently interaction with both host CD and guest NE compounds. All the proposed sensors were applied in real samples and exhibited low detection limits, good sensitivity, stability and anti- interference ability".
