This vaccine contained M. canis exoantigens and Alhydrogel adjuvant. As Microsporum canis represents the most common dermatophyte in pets and is responsible for reported zoonosis but till now there is no effective vaccine used for controlling dermatophytosis in pets. The secreted components by M.canis are considered as the main virulence factor of M.canis and as they are a potential source of antigen to induce protective immunity thus they are also named "exoantigens" UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
