Material and methods:This study was conducted on eight patients selected from outpatient clinic, Faculty of dentistry, Cairo university. The patients were divided into two groups. One group received dental implants using surgical guides designed from CBCT with 0.2 mm voxel size while the other group received dental implants using surgical guides designed from CBCT with 0.4 mm voxel size. The surgical guides were designed using bluesky bio software. The patients were asked for post-operative CBCT to compare the accuracy the surgical guide. Linear and angular deviations were measured between planned and actual position in both groups. The results were tabulated and statistically analyze. Results:Surgical guides manufactured with CBCT of 0.2 mm voxel size showed statistically significantly lower median linear and angular deviation than surgical guides manufactured with CBCT of 0.4 mm voxel in BL direction. While there was no statistically significantly difference between the two groups in linear and angular deviation in MD direction. Conclusion: There was no clinical significantly clinical difference in linear and angular accuracy between surgical guides manufactured from CBCT with voxel size either 0.2mm or 0.4 mm UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
