The Nile Delta covered by a thick sequence of Neogene clastic, which is considered as one of the most important gas provinces in Egypt. The actual exploration activities in Nile Delta started in 1963 and continuous until now. The main target of the present study is determination of the properties of Upper Miocene reservoirs that help us to predict the distribution and quality of these reservoirs. The study area is located in the northeastern part of the onshore Nile Delta, between Latitudes 31{u00B0} 12' 00" and 31{u00B0} 24' 00", and Longitudes 31{u00B0} 16' 00" and 31{u00B0} 38' 00". The present study focuses on using the available geological data, well log data and seismic data, to evaluate the Upper Miocene, Abu Madi and Qawasim reservoirs, through the interpretation and integration of the well log with seismic data, to find out the connections between the geological and geophysical deductions. The results confirm that, the sandstone content exists as a main lithology in the Upper Abu Madi and Qawasim sections, at Narges-1 and El Basant-1 wells. The best quality sandstone appears in the Upper Abu Madi section at Narges-1 well and in Qawasim section at the upper part of El Basant-1 well and the Lower part of Narges-1 well. The clastics in Abu Madi and Qawasim formations have good petrophysical properties, in which the northwestern part of the study area is the best area as net reservoir, effective porosity and quality for Abu Madi section and the eastern part is the best portion as net reservoir, effective porosity and quality for Qawasim reservoir UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
