Background : Lipid peroxidation is one of the oxidative stresses occurs during moderate and high intensity exercise , perhaps as a result of increased consumption of oxygenThe purposes : to investigate the relationship between different exercise intensity and lipid peroxidation , and to evaluate the effect of different intensity of exercise of lipid peroxidation in different gendersMaterials and methods : Forty healthy non athletic subjects , both sexes were involved aged between 18 - 28 yearsThey were divided randomly into two equal groupsThe first group was exercised on bicycle ergometer at intensity 70in hundred of maximal heart rate for 30 minutesThe second group was exercised on bicycle ergometer at intensity 90in hundred of maximal heart rate for 5 minutesBlood samples were taken immediately before and after the exercise session from the anticubital veinThe samples were analyzed by spectrophotometer to detect the level of malondialdehyde by using thiobarbituric acid dissolved in sodium salfat solution
