In recent years , plate osteosynthesis with angular stable implants is frequently used for treament of displaced proximal humeral fractures . The aim of this study is to evaluate the result of a new internal locking system , Philos ( Proximal Humeral Internal Locking System ) plate , used for treatment of three and four part proximal humeral fractures ( according to Neer's classification system ) , we also evaluate the incidence of postoperative complications and functional recovery of the shoulder
