  • نموذج خط نقل للقناة الصوتية بإضافة تفريعة جانبية للغة العربية [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mathematics and Physics Summary: Transmission Line Modeling has been applied to model the propagation of acoustic waves through the vocal tract exploiting the analogy principle. This approach has the advantage of modeling the behavior of the human speech apparatus rather than simply the speech sounds it generates. Accordingly, more natural phenomena can be elaborated. In this work, the TLM has been used to synthesize some voiced sounds in Arabic. The spectral properties of these sounds have been analyzed taking into account the glottal excitation, the number of modeling sections, the viscous friction, and the branching. Finally our results had compared with the results in previous literatures
