However there are not enough studies that interpret the behavior of different structural systems that are used in Egypt . In this resarch a study is conducted to interpret the force reduction factor values of steel moment resisting frames for different PGA levels as given in the Egyptian code . This study focuses on the evaluation of the ductility reduction factor which is considered the main component of the reduction factor
