Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Analytical Chemistry
Commercial carbon was activated through the addition of TiO₂ gels prepared from titanous chloride. Additionally, carbon originating from new agricultural waste products, which are abundant in Egypt, was prepared and activated physically by heating and gasification with an oxidizing agent to reach a certain percentage of bum off, as well as chemically by using inorganic additives
