  • تصميم و تشييد مشتقات جديدة من البيرازوليدينون و تقيمها البيولوجى كمضادات للبكتيريا [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - German University - Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research - Department of Pharmaceulical Chemistry Summary: The extensive emergence of rsistant bacterial strains represents a serious threat to public health. This fact accounts for the need for the discovery of new antibacterial agents. Since intact peptidoglycan is essential for bacterial survival, attention has been recently given to the cytoplasmatic steps of peptidoglycan biosynthesis, and especially towards the Mur enzymes. Previous reports showed several pyrazolidine-3,5-diones as inhibiyors of bacterial cell wall biosynthesis through inhibition of MurB enzyme, with their major activity against gram-positive bacteria
