Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Zoology Summary: The present study evaluated the effect of sperm origin either from neither ejaculation nor testicular biopsy and estimated the fertilization rate, embryo quality, successful pregnancy and live birth rate of the coming embryos.650 cycle were enrolled in the study. They were divided into two major groups according to the day were the embryo transferred (Group A day 3,Group B day 5) and each group was divided into 4 subgroups according to sperm origin (Normozoospermia,Oligospermia,Epididymal and Testicular sperm). For each experimental group, ICSI outcomes were compared between the two major groups and between the four subgroups. In conclusion we found that it{u2019}s better for oligospermic men to transfer their embryos on day 3 other than day five. We found that when comparing day 3 to day 5 there was no significant difference on fertilization rate. But when we compared them to clinical and baby out come it showed some significant difference
