This thesis is concerned with the analysis of some amine containing drugs. It consists of three parts, part I contains a general introduction on amines. Part II is about the determination of tiotropium bromide in presence of its degradation product. While part III is about the simultaneous determination of paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride, salicylamide and promethazine hydrochloride. Different analytical techniques were used for the analysis of these drugs. The applied techniques include spectrophotometry, chemometry, thin layer chromatography (TLC), ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ion selective electrode. The proposed methods were simple, accurate, reproducible and sensitive for the determination of the studied drugs. The proposed methods were validated according to ICH guidelines
