إدارة المشروعات هي عملية تخطيط وتنظيم وتنفيذ ومراقبة الموارد لتحقيق أهداف محددة ضمن إطار زمني وميزانية معينة. تشمل هذه الإدارة عدة عناصر أساسية، منها تحديد نطاق المشروع، وتوزيع المهام، وإدارة المخاطر، وتقييم الأداء. تساهم إدارة المشروعات الفعالة في تحسين كفاءة العمل، وتقليل التكاليف، وزيادة جودة النتائج، مما يساعد المؤسسات على تحقيق أهدافها الاستراتيجية بنجاح.وتُعرف منهجيات إدارة المشاريع بأنها مجموعة من العمليات التي تستخدمها المنظمات لإنجاز مهام الأعمال الكبيرة كما تهدف منهجيات إدارة المشاريع إلى تحقيق الكفاءة والجودة في إدارة المشاريع ولضمان تحقيق أهدافها بنجاح. ويجب أن يتم اختيار المنهجية المناسبة وفقًا لنوع المشروع وظروفه الفريدة. وكان موضوع هذه الدراسة هو أثر تطبيق منهجية ادارة مشروعات الحدائق والتصميم الحضري على تحسين مؤشرات الاستدامة وجودة الحياة، دراسة تطبيقيه على المدينة المنورة وذلك في الإطار النظري من خلال ما تضمنته الأدبيات الإدارية، وكذا الجانب التطبيقي من خلال ما أفرزته استمارة الاستبيان عبر تحليل إجابات أفراد العينة حول متغيرات الدراسة، حيث أنه في هذا السياق، يتمثل التصميم الحضري وإدارة المشاريع المتعلقة بالحدائق والمساحات الخضراء في المدينة المنورة، المملكة العربية السعودية، من الأدوات الحيوية لتحقيق مؤشرات الاستدامة وجودة الحياة. إذ تعتبر المدينة المنورة من بين المدن الإسلامية القديمة الرائدة ومركزًا حضاريًا ودينيًا هامًا، فإن رعاية وتطوير مساحات الحدائق والتصميم الحضري المستدام يعكس الاهتمام الكبير بالموروث الثقافي والبيئي والاجتماعي للمدينة.

Project management is the process of planning, organizing, executing, and monitoring resources to achieve specific objectives within a defined timeframe and budget. This management approach encompasses several fundamental elements, including defining the project scope, task distribution, risk management, and performance evaluation. Effective project management contributes to enhancing work efficiency, reducing costs, and improving output quality, ultimately enabling organizations to successfully achieve their strategic goals. Project management methodologies are defined as a set of processes employed by organizations to accomplish large-scale business tasks. These methodologies aim to ensure efficiency and quality in project management, thereby securing the successful attainment of project objectives. Selecting the appropriate methodology should be based on the project type and its unique circumstances.
The Subject of this study was to examine the impact of applying project management methodologies in park development and urban design on enhancing sustainability indicators and quality of life. This applied study was conducted in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwara, integrating both theoretical insights from administrative literature and empirical findings from survey responses. In this context, urban design and the management of park-related projects and green spaces in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwara, Saudi Arabia, serve as crucial tools for achieving sustainability and quality-of-life indicators. As one of the pioneering historic Islamic cities and a significant cultural and religious center, the sustainable development of parks and urban design in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwara reflects a profound commitment to preserving its cultural, environmental, and social heritage.
