هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من دور الوساطة للتضحية الوالدية كما يدركها طلاب الجامعة بين الرضا عن الحياة ووجودة العلاقة بينهم وبين أبائهم، وتحديد توسط التضحية الوالدية العلاقة بينهم، استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وقد بلغت عينه الدراسة (310) من طلاب الجامعة تراوحت أعمارهم من (25:17) سنوات بمتوسط حسابي (19,880) وانحراف معياري (1,490)، من طلاب جامعة القاهرة من مختلف الكليات والأقسام، وقد استخدمت الدراسة الأدوات الأتية: مقياس التضحية الوالدية كما يدركها الأبناء،إعداد: الباحثة، ومقياس الرضا عن الحياة ، اعداد مجدي الدسوقي "2013"، ومقياس جوده العلاقة بين الأباء والأبناء من اعداد (Katz &Fuman, 1985) ترجمة منال عبد النعيم ،عمرو عطايا (2020)، أشارت النتائج أن التضحية الوالدية لها تأثيرًا ايجابيا مباشرًا في الرضا عن الحياة، وايضا التضحية الوالدية لها تأثيرًا ايجابيا مباشرًا في جودة العلاقة بين الأباء والأبناء، مما أدى إلى أثبات توسط التضحية الوالدية العلاقة (وساطة كلية) ايجابية بين الرضا عن الحياة وجودة العلاقة بين الأباء والأبناء.

The study aimed to investigate the mediating role of parental sacrifice as perceived by university students between life satisfaction and the quality of the relationship between them and their parents, and to determine the extent to which parental sacrifice mediates this relationship. The study used the descriptive correlational method. The sample consisted of 310 university students aged between 17 and 25 years, with a mean age of 19.88 years and a standard deviation of 1.49, from various faculties and departments of Cairo University. The study used the following tools: the Parental Sacrifice Scale as perceived by the children, developed by the researcher, the Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Magdy El-Dessouki (2013), and the Parent-Child Relationship Quality Scale developed by Katz & Fuman (1985), translated by Manal Abdel Naim and Amr Attia (2020). The results indicated that parental sacrifice has a direct positive effect on life satisfaction and also a direct positive effect on the quality of the parent-child relationship, demonstrating that parental sacrifice positively mediates (full mediation) the relationship between life satisfaction and the quality of the parent-child relationship.
