هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى رصد وتوصيف الدور الذى تلعبه صوامع القمح في تعزيز الأمن الغذائى في مصر، وذلك من خلال التعرف على آثار استخدام تلك الصوامع فى زيادة كفاءة مخزون القمح، وتقليل الفاقد، وضمان سلامة وجودة الحبوب ، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي واستخدمت الاستبيان والمقابلة كأداة لجمع بيانات الدراسة حيث تكــــــونت عينة الدّراســـــــــة من عينة عمدية قوامها 50 مفردة من العاملين بالشركة القابضة للصوامع والتخزين بالقاهرة ، وعينة قوامها 300 مفردة من المزارعين بمحافظات الشرقية والبحيرة والمنيا ، وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام برنامج التحليل الاحصائي spss، وتوصلت الدراسة الى العديد من النتائج أهمها: زيادة تفضيل المُزارعين لاستخدام الصوامع فى تخزين محصول القمح، مقارنة بالشون الترابية و زيادة اعتماد المُزارعين على الصوامع في تخزين محصول القمح، لتقليل الفاقد من المحصول، وحمايته من درجة الحرارة والهواء والرطوبة و وجود علاقةٍ ارتباطية دالة إحصائياً بين مدى اعتماد المُزارعين على الصوامع في التخزين وإتجاهاتهم نحو دورها في تعزيز الأمن الغذائي و وجود علاقةٍ ارتباطية دالة إحصائياً بين حجم ثقة المُزارعين بكفاءة الصوامع في التخزين وإتجاهاتهم نحو دورها في تعزيز الأمن الغذائى. ووجود فروقٍ ذات دلالة إحصائية في إتجاهات المزارعين نحو دور الصوامع في تعزيز الأمن الغذائى وفقا لمتغيراتهم الديموغرافية، بإستثناء متغير السن، كما توصلت الدراسة الي مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة استبدال الشون الترابية بالصوامع الحديثة، لتعزيز كفاءة المخزون من محصول القمح والتعاون الإقليمي والدولى فى تنفيذ المشروعات الخاصة بصوامع القمح والاهتمام برفع كفاءة حبوب القمح وفقا لمواصفات الجودة العالمية.

This study aimed to monitor and describe the role played by wheat silos in enhancing food security in Egypt. It focused on the effects of using these silos to increase the efficiency of wheat storage, reduce losses, and ensure the safety and quality of grains. To achieve this goal, the study relied on the descriptive-analytical method and used questionnaires and interviews as tools for data collection. The study sample consisted of a purposive sample of 50 employees from the Holding Company for Silos and Storage in Cairo, and a sample of 300 farmers from the governorates of Sharqia, Beheira, and Minya . Data was analyzed using the SPSS statistical analysis program. The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: An increase in farmers' preference for using silos to store wheat crops compared to traditional storage methods. An increase in farmers' reliance on silos for wheat storage to reduce crop losses and protect it from heat, air, and humidity.,A statistically significant correlation between the extent of farmers' reliance on silos for storage and their attitudes towards its role in enhancing food security, A statistically significant correlation between the level of farmers' trust in the efficiency of silos for storage and their attitudes towards its role in enhancing food security, Statistically significant differences in farmers' attitudes towards the role of silos in enhancing food security according to their demographic variables, except for age.The study also made several recommendations, the most important of which are, The necessity of replacing traditional storage methods with modern silos to enhance the efficiency of wheat storage., Regional and international cooperation in implementing projects related to wheat silos, Focusing on improving the quality of wheat grains according to global quality standards.
