تناولت هذه الرسالة دراسة أثرية فنية لبعض أدوات الصيد والشطرنج في عهد الأسرة العلوية، وقد جاءت هذه الرسالة في مجلد واحد، اشتمل على المقدمة والتمهيد، يليها أربعة فصول ثم الخاتمة.
اشتملت المقدمة على أهمية موضوع البحث، وأهداف البحث، وإشكالية البحث، والدراسات السابقة، ومنهج البحث. أما عن التمهيد فقد تضمن نبذة عن الصيد والشطرنج وموقف الإسلام من ممارستهما. يعقب التمهيد أربعة فصول، تناول الفصل الأول الصيد والشطرنج في عهد الأسرة العلوية. تناول الفصل الثاني الدراسة التصنيفية الوصفية لأدوات الصيد والشطرنج. تناول الفصل الثالث الدراسة الدراسة التحليلية لأدوات الصيد والشطرنج. تناول الفصل الرابع التأثيرات الفنية والدراسة المقارنة. ثم الخاتمة، يليها قائمة المصادر والمراجع، يليها فهرس اللوحات والأشكال

This thesis presents an archaeological and artistic study of some hunting and chess tools that belonged to Mohamed Ali’s dynasty. This thesis is presented in one volume, which begins with an introduction and preface, is followed by four chapters, and ends with a conclusion.
The introduction shows the importance of the research topic, its objectives, problem, previous studies, and methodology. Concerning the preface, it presents an overview of hunting process and chess and Islam’s attitude towards their practice. The preface is followed by four chapters. Chapter one's title is "Hunting and Chess during the Mohamed Ali’s dynasty". Chapter two's title is "The Taxonomical Descriptive Study of Hunting and Chess Tools. Chapter three's title is "The Analytical Study of Hunting and Chess Tools. Chapter four's title is "The Artistic Influences and Comparative Study". The paper is ended with a conclusion, and is followed by a list of, references and resources and an index of paintings and figures.
