هدفت الدراسة إلى إبراز أهمية برمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات، وذلك من خلال حصرها وتقييمها، وذلك من خلال الشرح والتوضيح للوظائف والإمكانات لهذه البرمجيات والعمل على ربطها بمرافق المعلومات، كما تم التوصل إلى مجموعة من المعايير التي ينبغي الالتزام بها عن تقييم واختيار برمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات في مرافق المعلومات المصرية، وقد تم إعداد دليل استرشادي لكيفية استخدام برمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات. وقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج المسحي في الكشف والحصر والتقييم لبرمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات، من خلال الاعتماد على جلسات الاتصال المباشر بشبكة الإنترنت، وتصميم قائمة مراجعة كأداة رئيسية لتقييم البرمجيات. وقد تم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة العمدية وبلغت 23 برمجية. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية، هي صعوبة تقييم وحدات (المتطلبات الوظيفية) لبرمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات، وذلك نظراً للتحديثات المستمرة، إمكانية طلب إضافة الوحدات على حسب احتياجات المؤسسات، وبالتالي من الصعب تمييز برمجية عن أخرى نظراً للتشابه في الوظائف الميزات، لذلك يتم الاختيار وفقًا لتقييم مجموعة متنوعة من العوامل المختلفة بجانب القسم الخاص بالمتطلبات الوظيفية قبل اتخاذ القرار النهائي. كما تم إعداد دليل استرشادي لكيفية استخدام برمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات داخل مرافق المعلومات، وذلك من خلال برمجية Odoo. توصي الدراسة أنه لابد من زيادة الاهتمام بمفهوم تخطيط موارد المؤسسات، والاهتمام بتطبيق برمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات داخل مرافق المعلومات المصرية، كما يجب إعداد الدورات لاختصاصي المكتبات والمعلومات حول كيفية استخدام برمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات، وأهمية استرشاد متخصصي المكتبات بدليل برمجيات تخطيط موارد المؤسسات المقترح

The study aimed to highlight the importance of enterprise resource planning software, by inventorying and evaluating it, by explaining and clarifying the functions and capabilities of this software and working to link it to information utilities. A set of standards were also reached that should be adhered to when evaluating and selecting enterprise resource planning software in Egyptian Information utilities, a guide has been prepared on how to use enterprise resource planning software. The study followed the survey approach in detecting, inventorying, and evaluating enterprise resource planning software, by relying on direct Internet connection sessions, and designing a checklist as a main tool for evaluating the software. The study sample was chosen intentionally and consisted of 23 programs. The study reached the following results: the difficulty of evaluating the modules (functional requirements) of ERP software, due to the continuous updates, the possibility of requesting the addition of modules according to the needs of the enterprises, and therefore it is difficult to distinguish one software from another due to the similarity in functions and features, so the choice is made A variety of different factors are evaluated along with the section on functional requirements before making a final decision. A guide has also been prepared on how to use enterprise resource planning software within information utilities, through the Odoo software. The study recommends that there must be increased attention to the concept of enterprise resource planning, and attention to the application of enterprise resource planning software within Egyptian information utilities. Courses must also be prepared for library and information specialists on how to use enterprise resource planning software, and the importance of library specialists being guided by the proposed enterprise resource planning software guide.
