عنوان الدراسة ”التحف الخشبية بعمائر مدينة استانبول- دراسة أثرية فنية مقارنة”، واتبعت في دراسة هذا الموضوع المنهج العلمي الذي يعتمد على الوصف والتحليل والمقارنة، لذلك قمت بتقسيم الدراسة إلى مقدمة وتمهيد وثمانية أبواب وخاتمة بالإضافة إلى الملاحق وكتالوج الأشكال واللوحات. المقدمة: وتشتمل على أسباب اختيار الموضوع وأهمية دراسته واشكالية البحث ثم منهج البحث. التمهيد: يتضمن نبذة تاريخية مختصرة عن الدولة السلجوقية وعصر الإمارات التركمانية وتاريخ الدولة العثمانية، وعوامل ازدهار الفن والعمارة في العصر العثمانى، ودور القصر السلطانى والأمراء والوزراء في رعاية الفنون والعمل على تطورها وازدهارها، بالإضافة إلى طوائف الصناع والحرفيين، وبعض رسومهم وتصاويرهم في المخطوطات العثمانية المذوقة بالصور. الباب الأول: يحتوي على الدراسة الوصفية للأبواب بالجوامع والترب والعمائر المدنية. الباب الثاني: يشتمل على الدراسة الوصفية لأبواب المحافل بالجوامع والترب. الباب الثالث: يتضمن الدراسة الوصفية للشبابيك بالجوامع والترب والعمائر المدنية. الباب الرابع: يضم الدراسة الوصفية للدواليب الحائطية في الجوامع والترب والعمائر المدنية. الباب الخامس: يحتوى على الدراسة الوصفية للأسقف والمحافل والمقاصير. الباب السادس: يشتمل على الدراسة الوصفية للكراسي والمنابر وصناديق المصاحف. الباب السابع: يتضمن الدراسة الوصفية للتحف المدنية ذات الصفة المنقولة. الباب الثامن: يضم الدراسة التحليلية وهي كالآتى الفصل الأول: المواد الخام. الفصل الثاني: الشكل العام للتحف الخشبية موضوع الدراسة. الفصل الثالث: الأساليب الصناعية والزخرفية. الفصل الرابع: الأشكال الهندسية الفصل الخامس: الزخارف النباتية. الفصل السادس: النقوش الكتابية الفصل السابع: رسوم الكائنات الحية الفصل الثامن: السحب والأقمار، والبخاريات، والسحب الصينية. الفصل التاسع: العناصر المعمارية. ثم أُختتمت الرسالة بالخاتمة وأهم النتائج ثم الملاحق وقائمة المصادر والمراجع العربية والأجنبية وفهرس الأشكال واللوحات ثم كتالوج الأشكال واللوحات.

The dissertation, titled “Ottoman wooden antiques on the buildings of Istanbul, An Archaeological, Artistic and Comparative study” follows the scientific methodology that relies on description, analysis, and comparison. Therefore, the study is structured into preface, introduction, eight chapters, a set of conclusions, in addition to supplements and a catalogue of figures and photographs.
Preface: comprises the reason behind the selection of this topic, the importance of the study, as well as the problems of the research and the methodology followed.
Introduction: offers a concise historical introduction on the Seljuq State, the State of Turkuman principalities, as well as the Ottoman Empire. It also examines the factors that led to the prosperity of arts and architecture in the Ottoman period, the role played by the sultanic Court, the princes, and the viziers in sponsoring the arts and working on their development and flourishing. Additionally, it investigates the role that arts and crafts guilds undertook, as well as some of their illustrations and paintings in the illuminated Ottoman manuscripts.
Chapter one: contains a descriptive study of the doors belonging to mosques, tombs, and civil buildings.
Chapter two: contains a descriptive study of the doors belonging to mahfilsIn mosques and tombs.
Chapter three: comprises a descriptive study of the windows of the mosques, tombs, and civil buildings.
Chapter four: contains a descriptive study of the wall closets in mosques, tombs, and civil buildings.
Chapter five: includes a descriptive study of ceilings, mahfils, and wooden screens (maqsuras).
Chapter Six: contains a descriptive study of chairs, minbars, andQur’an boxes.
Chapter Seven: contains a descriptive study of portable civil objects.
Chapter eight: contains the analytical study, which runs as follows:
Section one: raw materials.
Section two: shapes of the analyzed wooden objects.
Section three: formative and decorative techniques.
Section four: geometric patterns.
Section five: vegetal decorations.
Section Six: inscriptions.
Section Seven: figural paintings.
Section Eight: the decorative elements called the Chintimai, the medallions (bukhariyyat), and Chinese clouds.
Section Nine: Architectural elements.
The study is sealed with conclusions that contain the most important results, followed by supplements, lists of bibliography and illustrations, as well as catalogues.
