هتم هذه الدراسة بتحليل كتاب(عيون األثر في فنون المغازي والشمائل والسير،)
وتهدف إلى عمل ترجمة وافية للمؤلف، وبيان العوامل التي أثَّرت في نشأته،
وتكوينه العلمي، والرد َّ على الطعن الذي ورد فيه، وطوَّفت في سمات العصر الذي
نشأ فيه أبو الفتح ابن سيد الناس، فكان الباب األول: المؤلف والكتاب، بفصليه:
الفصل األول: ابن سيد الناس وحياته العلمية، وعصره. والفصل الثاني: التعريف
بكتاب (عيون األثر في فنون المغازي والشمائل والسير)
كما سعت إلى إبراز منهجه في الكتاب المذكور، باستخدام المنهج التحليلي،والمنهج
الوصفي، والمنهج المقارن، والمنهج النقدي.

This study is concerned with analyzing the book "Oyoun al-Athar fi
Funun al-Maghazi wa al-Shama'il wa al-Siyar," aiming to provide a
thorough translation of the author's work, and to identify the factors
that influenced his upbringing, scientific formation, and to address the
criticism stated therein. It explored the characteristics of the era in
which Abu al-Fath Ibn Sayyid al-Nas was raised, hence the first section
is titled "The Author and the Book," consisting of two chapters: the
first chapter "Ibn Sayyid al-Nas and His Scientific Life, and His Time,"
and the second chapter "Introducing the Book (Oyoun al -Athar fi
Funun al-Maghazi wa al-Shama'il wa al-Siyar
