Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Design and Production
In this thesis, the redesign for commercial mufflers was studied, by referencing to some design parameters a concept design was made for a commercial exhaust muffler to reduce its cost. After solving theoretical models for the mufflers new and original design, measurements were made to verify the simulations. This thesis is a good guidance for mufflers cost reduction process
